He becomes the manager and coach of the Indian hockey team.

Facing several challenges, including financial constraints and internal conflicts within the team, Tapan leads his team to participate in the 1948 London Olympics. They face strong opponents, including the reigning champions, Great Britain.

The movie showcases the team's journey, their struggles, and their determination to win the gold medal for their newly independent nation. It also explores themes of patriotism, unity, and the indomitable spirit of the Indian people.

In a thrilling climax, India reaches the final match against Great Britain. The match is fiercely fought, with both teams displaying exceptional skills and determination.
