When Ghajini discovered that Kalpana had evidence against him, he killed her. Sanjay witnesses the murder but is hit on the head by Ghajini's henchmen, resulting in his amnesia.
With the help of Sunita, Sanjay gradually pieces together his past and trains himself physically and mentally to face Ghajini. As his memory lasts for only 15 minutes, he uses photographs, notes, and tattoos to remember his mission. Sanjay's relentless pursuit leads to confrontations with Ghajini's henchmen, as he seeks revenge for Kalpana's death.
In the climax, Sanjay confronts Ghajini, battling him and his gang. Despite his memory loss, Sanjay manages to overpower his enemies and ultimately kills Ghajini. However, due to his condition, he forgets about his mission and the revenge he sought.
